Our IPN adhesives are solvent-free adhesive systems based on epoxy resins which have been unconventionally modified by the help of Interpenetrating Networks Technology. These adhesives come as 2 separate parts that have to be mixed before application. Depending on the product type their pot life at room temperature is 4 hours and partly even longer. The curing of these adhesives occurs at temperatures between 80 and 150 °C. At room temperature the curing is very slow and incomplete.
The IPN adhesives show especially high adhesive strength to metals, such as aluminium or stainless steel, and they are also suitable for bonding glass, ceramics and many plastics. We have also developed a number of adhesives suitable for micro-electronics applications.
